The Iowa-Grant Track and Field Team is having a clothing order this season. There are new track and field designs, as well as hats that are non-sport-specific.

It's almost that time of year, for 3rd - 8th Grade Baseball and Softball to start. Click on the link below to register your student. This is for current 3rd-8th students, 4K-2nd grade T-Ball and Coach Pitch registration will come at a later date. Registration closes March 29th, 2024 at 4 pm. Registration fees need to be turned in to the IGEMS office by March 29th, 2024.

Mrs. Boldt's 8th grade RLA classes are currently reading the novel, All the Broken Pieces by Ann E. Burg. The story is about a young Vietnamese boy who gets airlifted to the United States during the Vietnam War. The book depicts his struggles with transitioning to his new home along with his memories of his war torn native country. To help the students gain perspective about this time in history, three local Vietnam veterans volunteered to speak our students. They captivated the students' attention with their personal stories. It was an enlightening experience for all. A special thank you to Gene Tremelling, Ron Larson, and John Kohout (members of the Ritchie, Bowers, Kohout VFW Post 9298 in Montfort) for your willingness to share your experiences, but most importantly, thank you gentlemen, for your service to our country!

The cost is as follows: Child/Student/Adult = $10.00; 6 & under = $1.00 when accompanied by an adult. Parking is available behind the school (west). There was a report of a potential threat involving a student on bus 7. The Iowa-Grant School District and the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department take all threats seriously. The situation has been addressed and students are safe. We appreciate everyone’s help in addressing the matter and there is no concern of a threat.
