Last week IGEMS celebrated the 100th Day of school. Mrs. Kennicker and the teachers hid 100 panther paws all around IGEMS. Students spent the day finding the panther paws and matching them up to the 100's grid to create this image. Students had a great time finding all of the hiding spots around the school.

Pep Rally for the 7 wrestlers that are headed to State!

State Wrestling starts this Thursday! The preliminary rounds will start at 7pm on Thursday. The quarterfinals start at 11:15am on Friday. Come out and cheer on the wrestlers! #WE ARE IGH

It's almost that time of year, for 3rd - 8th Grade Baseball and Softball to start. Click on the link below to register your student. Mrs. Boldt's 8th grade RLA classes are currently reading the novel, All the Broken Pieces by Ann E. Burg. The story is about a young Vietnamese boy who gets airlifted to the United States during the Vietnam War. The book depicts his struggles with transitioning to his new home along with his memories of his war torn native country. To help the students gain perspective about this time in history, three local Vietnam veterans volunteered to speak our students. They captivated the students' attention with their personal stories. It was an enlightening experience for all. A special thank you to Gene Tremelling, Ron Larson, and John Kohout (members of the Ritchie, Bowers, Kohout VFW Post 9298 in Montfort) for your willingness to share your experiences, but most importantly, thank you gentlemen, for your service to our country!
