Iowa-Grant FFA Fruit Sale Orders are due this Friday to Mrs. Hammerly! Please order from an FFA member or reach out to Lara Hammerly at lhammerly@igs.k12.wi.us to place your order today! Orders will be delivered the first week of December.
All proceeds help fund the various FFA events, community service projects, and leadership conferences and conventions that the students participate in each year.

The Music Department is looking to sell quite a few more pasties within the next few days! If you or anyone else you know is looking for pasties, please have them contact Mrs. Gile by email at hgile@igs.k12.wi.us.
The price is $10 each and all will be made WITH onions this year. All sales need to be paid in advance (cash or checks written to Iowa Grant Music Parents and dropped off in the HS office- please be sure you have it labeled with your name).
Pasties MUST be picked up on the afternoon of November 5th from the IGEMS cafeteria.

Day four of the 95th National FFA Convention:
Iowa-Grant FFA members spent the whole day at the 95th National FFA Convention. They attended a variety of workshops, explored the career fair and expo, and went to the Lucas Oil Stadium for the 5th General Session!

IGEMS community service members took our first trip out into the community today to rake leaves. They worked hard and were able to help multiple community members who needed the assistance!
Check out these creations form Art Club students on Monday. Students created an Evening Forest Perspect. 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Art Club will meet again on November 28th from 3:30PM-5PM.

Day Three of the 95th National FFA Convention and Expo (part 2):
During the afternoon and evening, FFA members stopped for a tour at the NCAA Hall of Champions. They explored the FFA Career Fair and Expo and watched the 3rd General Session where they got to listen to the Retiring Address of the National FFA Central Region Vice President, Courtney Zimmerman (from the Spencer FFA Chapter in Wisconsin)!!!
Another great day at convention was had by all!
Day Three of the 95th National FFA Convention and Expo:
This morning FFA members stopped for a tour at Teter Organic Farm. Teter Organic Farm is an outreach mission of Noblesville First United Methodist Church which grows over 40 varieties of mixed vegetables on five acres. Their mission is to combat food insecurity, to build community through meaningful relationships, and to educate children and adults on the importance of environmental stewardship and care.
Day Two of the 95th National FFA Convention and Expo:
Students had time to explore the FFA Career Show and Expo and several students got to meet Dale Brisby. They attended the First General Session of the 95th National FFA Convention and got to hear from the Keynote Speaker, Tamika Catchings. For entertainment that evening, our FFA members attended The World’s Toughest Rodeo!
Day One of the 95th National FFA Convention and Expo:
Nine Iowa-Grant FFA Members and 2 Chaperones traveled to Indianapolis with 4 other schools from Wisconsin. They stopped along the way to tour FAIR OAKS FARMS. Our students got to see and learn about their robotic milking system and their 72-cow rotary parlor while they were in use! Students had time to explore the Cow Birthing Barn, along with the Pig and Crop Adventure. Some students even got to try some ice cream made from the milk on their farm!
