Tuesday was National Ag Day! To celebrate, high school Ag students went to 19 elementary classrooms and read agricultural books to students. The books ranged from information on cattle to pigs, flowers to gardening, and apples to pumpkins. IGEMS students got to ask questions about high school Ag classes and FFA.

Thank you, Southwest Tech!!
Iowa-Grant’s Panther Brew Crew had a special group of customers this week. Brianna Williamson (SWTC Recruiter/Alumni Development Specialist), Katie Glass (SWTC Executive Director of Marketing) and Kaye Woodke (SWTC Assistant Recruiter) stopped by to sample a delicious cup of specialty brewed coffee. Coffee is served every Wednesday morning by IG’s incredible Brew Crew. Brianna, Katie & Kay also toured our IG Greenhouse viewing the more than 20,000 new plantings that will soon be ready for our spring plant sale. We thank them for supporting our Iowa-Grant Students!! Come back and visit sometime soon ladies, especially when the flowers in the green house are in full bloom!!
