In October, the 3rd grade classes learned about the 3 branches of government in social studies and language arts. Then, we learned about the election process. To better understand the process, we held a Candy Election. Our candidates were Sour Patch Kids, Skittles, and M&Ms. Each student chose a candidate to support by making a poster. When campaigning for our candidate, we shared our posters urging our classmates to vote for our candidate. Then, we held an election! The winner of the 2024 Candy Election was Skittles!
