Custodian – 2nd Shift

The Iowa-Grant School District is currently seeking candidates for the position of custodian.  This is a full-time position working eight hours per day, Monday – Friday, from 3:15 – 11:45 p.m. during the school year.  Additional Saturday hours are required during the school year assigned on a rotating basis.  During the summer, all custodians work first shift hours.  Starting pay for second shift workers is $15.94 per hour.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and previous experience in the custodial field.  Physical demands include moderate to heavy lifting, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking for prolonged periods of time, and operating motorized cleaning and scrubbing equipment.  Responsibilities will include general cleaning, cleaning of restrooms, hard surface floor cleaning, carpet cleaning and light maintenance duties.  A good work record and the ability to work productively on your own are essential.  Candidates with general mechanical aptitude skills will be given additional consideration.

Teacher Substitutes

The Iowa-Grant School District is currently seeking persons to substitute for our teaching staff. Substitutes for teachers must possess a Wisconsin teaching license and are paid $100 per day or $55 per half-day. Interested persons should contact the district office at 943-6311, extension 3014, to obtain substitute teacher application materials.

Support Staff Substitutes
The Iowa-Grant School District is currently seeking persons to be substitutes in the following areas for the upcoming school year: 1) Custodians -- PM shift 2) Cooks 3) Classroom Teacher Assistants 4) Clerical Assistants Substitutes are called on an as-needed basis and are paid $10.50 per hour. Classroom teacher assistant substitutes are not required to possess a Wisconsin teacher license.
